Lynsey is an accredited Exercise Physiologist who has a passion for assisting people in realising and reaching their own functional capabilities by prescribing safe and effective exercise programs for people of all fitness levels and abilities. This ranges from people with chronic conditions and injuries to sporting performance or enhancing a person’s daily functionality.
Lynsey has a Masters degree in Sports & Exercise Medicine at University of Exeter, England. She has also completed an undergraduate degree in Sports Science & Health at Dublin City University, Ireland. She is also trained in Clinical Pilates via the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA). Lynsey undertook various examinations in Australia to demonstrate that her knowledge and practical capabilities that she had obtained internationally met the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Exercise Physiologist standards. Upon meeting the strict accreditation requirements she was successfully accredited by ESSA as an AEP.
Lynsey has been part of the Unified Fitness team for the past 4 years. She has experience with a vast range of clients with specific clinical needs. Additionally, she has previous experience working for UK sport, Irish Cancer Society and as an Adapted Physical Activity Co-ordinator.
